Skylar Hyslop is a visual artist specializing in graphic design. She is a graduate of Hudson Valley Community College where she studied Digital Media. Skylar enjoys combining different media sources and is currently working on editing her photographs in Adobe Photoshop, to achieve surreal visual results.  Her work was exhibited in the Student Gallery Exhibition in Spring of 2023 at Hudson Valley Community College.  Skylar has also had one of her photos published in the Hudson Valley’s poetry and art Journal, Threads, in 2023. A piece of hers was also accepted to be in the 2024 120° Intercollegiate Exhibition at the Arts Center of the Capital Region in Troy, NY. She hopes to continue showing  work in galleries in the future. Skylar is currently working as a freelance event photographer, her key client the Business Association of Ravena, her hometown.  She plans to continue her creative path in photography, but she is also skilled, and very passionate about graphic design and videography. Skylar has been accepted into Suny Purchase’s Graphic Design BFA program in Fall of 2024, and will continue her passions within their program.
